An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of Performance Attribution Managers, working within the Operations Department for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) Thameslink.

About The Role
The successful applicants will be responsible for the correct investigation; attribution and reporting of train running delay information, whilst supporting the Operational Management team improve performance as measured by the industry performance metrics.
You will be the point of contact for all Traincrew delay and cancellations, and will primarily focus on investigation and the gathering of information from Traincrew, whilst working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure that delay and cancellation root causes are established and recorded correctly. Additional areas that will be expected are trend analysis, visualisation facilitation and the providing of written reports.
The role holder must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise workloads with a meticulous attention to detail, have experience in managing investigations through to conclusions, have a high IT literacy in Word and Excel and be able to interpret large amounts of data (holding no less than 1 years’ experience in data interpretation), be a clear communicator both verbally and non-verbally and possess the ability to influence others.
Key roles and responsibilities
- To establish through thorough investigations the root cause of Traincrew incidents, within agreed targets and contractual timescales.
- Support the Traincrew Management Team for improvements in performance metrics (PPM, delay minutes, cancellations, significant lateness and short formations) to exceed franchise benchmarks.
- Embed a performance culture within all Thameslink Traincrew Depots to drive continuous improvements.
- Build strong working relationships with all internal stakeholders.
