We have an excellent opportunity within our Customer Services department for an Area Station Manager TL Core.
Reporting to the TL Customer Services Route Manager the purpose of the role is to lead and support the TL Station Managers to ensure that the operations and safety delivery requirements across GTR stations are achieved to a high standard. You will assist in delivering a robust sustainable safety culture across GTR which protects our customers and employees and significantly improves overall safety performance.
Key to your success will be your ability to inspire, develop and lead the team, while building strong working relationships with customers, the local community and key stakeholders.
Naturally you will be a people person with influential communication skills and have the ability to identify and implement improvement wherever possible.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following in their application:
- Proven track record in customer service management
- Leadership skills
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- Budget management experience
- Experience of coaching, developing and motivating staff
- Knowledge of workforce / manpower planning
- Knowledge of internal control disciplines
- High level communication skills
