About the Job
We have an excellent opportunity within our Customer Service department for a Station Team Leader based at St Albans.
As a Station Team Leader you will be responsible for the platform teams to ensure that the station runs efficiently and safely, and that cleaning and presentation standards are maintained to a high standard. You will ensure that you and your team are highly visible on platforms, dispatching trains, assisting customers and keeping them informed about station delays, platform changes and minimising crowding on platforms. You will encourage your team to deliver high standards of customer service and information provision. As such, this is a great developmental opportunity for staff looking for career progression within Station Management.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following in their application:
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Pro-active, friendly aptitude.
- Solid experience in dealing with our customers.
- Good standard of English both verbal & written.
- Good standard of numeracy and accuracy.
- Supervisory experience or experience of coaching/mentoring others.
