We are currently looking for a Operations Learning Manager to join our team based in Selhurst.

Reporting to the Driver Training Manager we are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate drivers to develop and maintain their competence. We need a flexible team player who can work when and where needed to develop the Driver Training & Development (DT&D) and facilitate learning and assessment activities.

The main parts to this position are to be able to work to a flexible schedule to facilitate and support learning and development activities when and where required, working as part of a small team with shared on-call responsibilities. We also require someone who can develop, facilitate and evaluate learning, assessment and feedback activities within the DT&D as well as be an ambassador for learning and development at GTR.

We require an individual who provides an exemplary level of informed and active customer service to learners, enhancing the learning environment and experience resulting in enhanced learner engagement, motivation to learn and on-job performance.

We want to recruit the best and someone who continuously maintains an expert level of self-competence in learning & development and train driving through seeking emerging practice and examining how it can be integrated GTRs Drivers’ competence.

You will need to positively contribute to the development, verification and review processes for the Driver Learning Framework, continuously developing and improving learning and assessment activities, making use of associated materials, aids and equipment, as well as contributing improvements to the Risk-Based Training Needs Analysis, competence standards and overall composition of the DT&D.

To enable you to carry out this role you will need the flexibility to deliver the outcomes of the role and support team members to cover an on-call roster; have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including use of information communications technology; have the ability to motivate and inspire adult learners, particularly through open, honest and constructive feedback.
