We have an excellent opportunity for a talented customer focused individual who can fill a unique multi-functional Sales/Station Assistant GPR role (General Purpose Relief) at Huntingdon / Finsbury / Hitchin.
As a Sales/Station Assistant GPR you must be a multi-skilled individual who is able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, strong customer focus and excellent communication skills, all with the customer at the forefront. Working on a shift basis, including Saturdays as part of the working week, this role is multi-functional and leads customer service activity across the station, including both the ticket office and platforms.
Key to your role, at all times, is being visible and anticipating the needs of the customer to meet their expectations. The ideal candidate must be flexible in their approach and competent in working both the ticket office and platforms. We are looking for applicants with a proven track record in Customer Service, strong communication skills, a good standard of numeracy and accuracy, cash handling experience and a passion for Customer Service.

- Cash handling experience/knowledge of cash regulations is highly advantageous.
Please note that as this role is a 'General Purpose Relief' role you will be obliged to work at other stations in the area in addition to the base station when required. Applicants should note that shift patterns for this role includes early starts, late finishes, nights and weekend working.
