Job Title: Project Manager (Business Change)
Location: Monument Place
Reports To: Performance Improvement & Strategy Manager
GTR is the biggest train operator in the country, running circa 4000 trains per day delivering 326 million passenger journeys per year. As an evolving organisation, we focus on people, safety and On Time performance to ultimately deliver a great service to our customers.
To help deliver our vision we are working as part of the national PIMS (Performance Improvement Management System) programme to improve the way we deliver On Time performance. Taking a systematic approach this role will work with stakeholders from across the entire GTR organisation including our Network Rail colleagues to identify and implement ways to deliver and embed change. The principal approach will be the application of the RM3P maturity model whereby operational teams are engaged to complete self-assessments and subsequently carry out action plans.
The PIMS programme is in the formative stages and we have a real appetite to progress it, therefore a new role has been created within the Joint Performance Team. We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and methodical person who is comfortable working across all levels and functions of our organisation. The role suits someone with experience in project management, change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
